Fingerprint collection for international criminal records.

Fingerprint Collection for FBI and RCMP

ZR2 Forensics is the only specialized fingerprint office in Latin America in fingerprint collection and processing for Criminal Record and Background Check applications submitted to the FBI (United States) or RCMP (Canada).

If you are in a European Union country, you may be assisted through our home-visit service or at our office in Madrid, Spain.

We provide confidential, personalized services for individuals and corporate clients, assisting with criminal background checks, immigration, naturalization, legal proceedings, professional licensing, and international regulatory compliance with agencies such as FINRA and the ABA.

Official Cards
We exclusively use official fingerprint forms required by international authorities:

FBI: FD-258 (Applicant Fingerprint Form) and FD-1164 (Identity History Summary Request)
BCIA – Bureau of Criminal Information and Analysis / State of California: FD-258
RCMP: C-216C (used by CSIS/RCMP, Canada)

All forms are completed on official hard stock paper with instructions in English, in full compliance with international regulations.

Special Cases
If you have any temporary or permanent conditions that may affect fingerprint collection (such as amputations, deformities, or Nagali Syndrome), please inform our team before scheduling your appointment.

In such cases, a certified fingerprint examiner will perform a preliminary assessment and, if needed, issue a justification report or apply special biometric collection procedures—which may include preparation steps or the use of specific creams prior to fingerprinting.
Additional fees may apply.

Acceptance Guarantee
ZR2 Forensics guarantees acceptance of all fingerprint cards by both the FBI, BCIA and RCMP.
If a rejection occurs due to the fingerprinting procedure, we will provide a new collection and resubmission at no additional cost at one of our offices.
(Guarantee valid only for applications processed and submitted by ZR2 Forensics.)

Processing Times
On average, ZR2 Forensics completes FBI and RCMP Criminal Record requests up to 50% faster than the official processing time.

When required, we can also issue supporting statements or affidavits for citizenship or legal procedures, certified in the United States or Canada, to justify extended submission deadlines for Criminal Record documents.

Fees and Additional Services
All processing is handled exclusively through our U.S. and Canadian offices, with payments made in U.S. dollars (USD), inclusive of all taxes and government fees.

Optional services include:

  • At-home service
  • Apostille service
  • Certified translation
  • Notarizations and affidavits
